Dan R. Hagen´s voice journey began in the late 80’s as a 16 year-old at a local radio station in Norway. Not long after, Hamar was no longer big enough – so he took a chance and moved to Oslo to pursue a career in radio in Norway’s biggest market. Through the 90’s he worked his way up and have been able to have worked in the biggest stations in the local market in Norway.
“Through the years I have had the opportunity to both work with and meet many exciting people, and I can wholeheartedly say that doing radio and VO are the best jobs in the world” says Dan R. Hagen and continues:
“My years in radio have helped me develop my craft – which is my voice – and in 2005 I wanted to really put my voice to the test by working as a voiceover artist, which I fell madly in love with right away. I started my own company, Hagen Media, and I am happy to be able to serve a rapidly increasing stable of satisfied clients all over the world, from China, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Denmark and The Netherlands to Los Angeles and New York. This I do from my custom-built home studio”.
Today you can hear Dan´s voice in commercials on national and local TV, as the promo voice for the TV-station TV4 Fakta, on national and local radio, onboard flights for US Airways and Norwegian Airlines, on e-learning projects and websites, and in stores on product video presentations, etc.
“I have voiced over one thousand commercials and still counting – and I can honestly say I take pride in trying to make every voiceover session the best I have ever done”.
